Your new best friend is closer than you think!

Welcome to Cougar Pets! We are a local animal rescue group housed on the Central Carolina Community College campus. As part of the Veterinary Medical Technology program, our animals help teach veterinary technician students essential skills that will help future animals.

All of our animals are rescued from shelters, and all are adoptable. In addition, they are up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered, and micro-chipped. Click on the cat or dog below to get started!

My name is Katara. I am a 5 year old, female that loves to play and cuddle! I am very laid back and would do best having all the attention of my future owner all to myself! I am very sweet and love to be loved, but also know how to be independent. In my spare time, I enjoy hiding in boxes and bird watching by the window!

My name is Jude Paw. I am 1 year old and I am so much fun!  I love to go on walks and play with both my furry friends and human friends! Squeaky toys are my favorite! After a long day of playing and learning need tricks and commands, I love to cuddle up and snooze! I cannot wait to find my furever home!
