Your new best friend is closer than you think!

Welcome to Cougar Pets! We are a local animal rescue group housed on the Central Carolina Community College campus. As part of the Veterinary Medical Technology program, our animals help teach veterinary technician students essential skills that will help future animals.

All of our animals are rescued from shelters, and all are adoptable. In addition, they are up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered, and micro-chipped. Click on the cat or dog below to get started!

My name is Savannah. I am a 2-year-old female that loves to play and cuddle! I am very laid back and make friends easily. I can be a little hesitant when meeting new people, but that is nothing a treat cannot fix! I am very sweet and love to be loved.

Success! Message received. We will get back with you shortly!

My name is Demeter! I am a 6 year old female tabby cat. My favorite thing to do is sneak into other cat's beds and bird watch from the window. I am very intrigued by children and I get along with them well. I would love to check out the views at your home! Click here to fill out an application!
